ClimateMaster heating and cooling equipment carry the build date inside the serial number. We know 2 serial formats for this brand; the decoder tries each one and shows every reading that fits.

How to read a ClimateMaster serial number

Year, month letter, then digits (1972 to 1990s)

The first two digits are the year and the letter after them is the month.

92J010915 reads as September 1992.

Year letter, factory, then week (1998 to about 2017)

The first letter is the year (H is 1998, then A for 1999 through V for 2017). The second character is the factory and the next two digits are the week.

K111300076 reads as week 11 of 2007.
